With Billy Gilman now the Youth Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association
and given the stunning success of the first MDA Fundraiser in 2001, we undertook to do
even more this time around, and the membership once again exceeded all
expectations.
As in the past, the money poured in. Checks, PayPal donations, and
even a Western Union transfer from over 40 donors brought the grand
total to $3000 -- twice the previous drive's total.
We forwarded the check to Billy via his managment, and he very graciously and thoughtfully
thanked us on the air! Thank you, Billy, Angela, and RPM!
