Good Posted by: swtsarah   Score: 4 Review posted: June 17th, 2003 @ 12:28 PM The lyrics of "I Am/Shades Of Life" are awfully repetitive, so it kinda loses its significance; however the melody is blithesome, so that makes up for it. The burst of strength in the lines "I am spirit, I am voice" is beautiful, and the little 'speech' of Mattie's a nice tough.

I love the part when Mattie reads his poem alound in the video! Mattie's poem is incredible!! It is really awesome and Billy's voice sounds really really good!
