Billy_Gilman_Live : Thank you!! DishDiva : It's nice to have you back. Billy_Gilman_Live : It's great to be here! I can't wait to get goin! DishDiva : Let's start taking some audience questions. DishDiva : felicia1 says: What can i expect from your new Holiday CD, "Classic Christmas"? Billy_Gilman : Well, great songs, and again it's not country music, it's all classical. It's a great variety of classic Christmas songs from Barbara Streisand and Bing Crosby and a duet with Charlotte Church. DishDiva : babyface says: What's your personal favorite on this CD? Billy_Gilman : That's a hard one! Probably I'd have to say the Christmas song "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire." DishDiva : Please keep in mind that you need to ask your question, just once! DishDiva : mikeframe Says: how long did it take you to record the christmas album Billy_Gilman_Live : It took approximately 5 days. We did 14 songs in 5 days. DishDiva : butterflysrule Says: billy, who was your biggest influence? Billy_Gilman_Live : Woah! Another hard question! I'd have to say the one that got me interested in singing was Pam Tillis. DishDiva : countryJim Says: How did the taping of your Christmas special go? Billy_Gilman_Live : It went great. We had a lot of great guests like Jessica Andrews, Michael W. Smith, Charlotte Church, and Ray Benson from "Asleep at the Wheel." We just had so much fun and it came out so great. It's going to air Dec. 5th on TNN. DishDiva : UKBoyAnthony Says: Billy, I have been keeping an eye out for you here in England, but you don't seem to be very big here at the moment. What are your plans concerning the UK? Billy_Gilman_Live : Tomorrow actually. I'm coming to England tomorrow and doing the UK telethon with Charlotte Church. I'll be singing "One Voice" and "Dream a Dream" which is from her CD. DishDiva : Max_BSG Says: Hey Billy the incredible platinum boy! Amazing - 12 years old and an international superstar! What's on thing you cannot do now at 12 but will be able to do as an adult, that your REALLY wish you could do now? Billy_Gilman_Live : Drive a car! (laugh) DishDiva : What kind of car do you want someday? Billy_Gilman_Live : Probably a Volvo. DishDiva : BillyLuvr Says: Can you give us any hints on the songs for the new CD that you will be recording? Billy_Gilman_Live : Well... I don't even know. That's a good question. I don't even know, they are starting to gather some songs. The producers that wrote "One Voice" are writing one. I don't remember the name, but it's about an older man. So I'm with you buddy, clueless, well you're not clueless. (laugh) DishDiva : ProcrastinationQueen Says: What was the first song you recorded? Billy_Gilman_Live : The first song was "I Wanna be a Cowboy Sweetheart" by LeeAnne Rimes which I changed to "I Wanna be a Cowgirl Sweetheart." DishDiva : genie_in_a_bottle13 Says: Hi Billy! Did you ever give a thought to writing your own songs before? Billy_Gilman_Live : Well we did send a contract to Ascap which is a big writing industry in Nashville and we haven't heard yet and you never know, maybe someday I might want to write with some of our producers. DishDiva : Are you doing any other christmas specials? Billy_Gilman_Live : I'm doing one with Christina Aguilera and N'Sync for Disney in December. And "Home For The Holidays" December 21st. It was so sad because it's all about adoption and Faith Hill was the opening act and there was one story that was so touching that me and Jamie Lee Curtis went out of the room and just balled!!! DishDiva : TracyOriginal18 Says: Billy what do you do about school? Do you get home schooled? Billy_Gilman_Live : Yeah! I have 2 tutors at home and my tour manager actually tutors me when I'm on the road. She's like my tour manager AKA tutor. DishDiva : Jenni_Lou7 Says: what about voice changes? Billy_Gilman_Live : Well.. my voice actually has changed over a period of time. Over a few months it has gone lower, but nothing major. DishDiva : BillyLuvr Says: You do such a great job acting in your videos. Have you considered expanding your acting career? Billy_Gilman_Live : Oh thank you so much!!! Billy_Gilman_Live : They want me to be on TV apperances like "Providence" and "Touched by an Angel" "7th Heaven" but we don't want to do it just yet because we don't want it to interfiere with my music career just yet. So maybe next year I'll do more acting. DishDiva : Penngwens_cante_spele Says: Billy, do you like to read? If so, what books? Billy_Gilman_Live : Oh! I love to read! I'm reading "The Kid Who Ran For President." It's a great book. I also love the "Harry Potter" books. I'm going to be reading #4 real soon, the really big one, so wish me luck! DishDiva : Rhode_Island_Fan Says: Hi Billy, if there is one person in the world, you would like to do a duet with, what artist would it be? Billy_Gilman_Live : Probably Barbra Streisand. She's got an amazing voice! DishDiva : missykissy_1 Says: billy when do you think you be coming to NY? Billy_Gilman_Live : Actually in a couple of months or so. I'm doing the Rosie show again and the Today Show again. It should be really fun, you'll see me then. I can't wait! DishDiva : Guest_melissa_marie Says: Is there a fan club I can join? I think it is cute. Billy_Gilman_Live : We wanted something different, and we decided to do this funny song. And it basically became all the fans favorite. DishDiva : jrw_05 Says: Hi Billy i love your songs they put tears in my eyes. When you were in Madison Wisconsin how did you like Wisconsin? I wish i could have been at your concert but the tickets were all gone by the time i got there Billy_Gilman_Live : OH! It was the Reba tour and it was SO much fun! She was the coolest!! And being in Wisconsin was very very cool. DishDiva : BillyGsBigestFan Says: Billy do you have a curfew? Billy_Gilman_Live : Actually, there's 2 curfews.. actually there's 3. At home I have to be in bed by 10 o'clock. On the bus 11:30 if I don't have to sing in the morning or it's 9. And at the hotels, I have to go to bed at 9 o'clock. DishDiva : BillyLuvr Says: Will there be another single and video off of the "One Voice" CD, and if so, could you tell us which song? Billy_Gilman_Live : Yeah. There's one out right now "Oklahoma." It's about a boy that lives with foster parents for a while and finds out he's going to meet his father for the first time. DishDiva : Frog_Girl13 Says: Billy do you have any siblings? Billy_Gilman_Live : Yes, I have one CRAZY brother, he's 8. His name is Collin DishDiva : need4speed12 Says: How much time do you get to spend at home with your family? Don't you get tired of the traveling around? Billy_Gilman_Live : I was gone for a week and I only have tonight home, then I go out to London tomorrow. Then I have until February off and we're going to take a big vacation. And I mean it too. I'm going on a week cruise to Jamaca, Mexico, and we're leaving from Miami, so that will be really fun. DishDiva : hawaiian_ice Says: What is the most craziest thing that a fan has given you? Billy_Gilman_Live : One girl gave me her lipstick. I don't know why. (laugh) That was pretty wild! I was like "hello..." DishDiva : PowerfulChyna Says: hey billy are you interested in any sports? Billy_Gilman_Live : I went to Swampstock and played softball with Tim Mcraw and that was really fun!! But my main goal and hobby is singing. DishDiva : FancyScorpio00 Says: Do you ever have much free time Billy_Gilman_Live : Well, we always do something fun with my free time because I don't have a lot of it. Billy_Gilman_Live : I have to be as much of a kid as possible. DishDiva : Guest_~Rachel~vt~ Says: Hey, Billy how did you feel when you won all 4 of the Billboard Awards you were nominated for?? Billy_Gilman_Live : It was so amazing!! I was in Los Angeles that night and when I found out I had won, I went in and thanked everyone and thank you all for making that happen. It was just really really incredible. DishDiva : BillyGsBigestFan Says: I heard you had gotten a tooth knocked out by a golf ball, what effect did it have on your singing? Billy_Gilman_Live : I cancelled the Today Show, but we did that after. And we cancelled some other shows. The effect, was when I tried to say my S's. I had stuff behind my tooth to hold it there and it felt funny. So when I tried to say "One Voice" it came out "One Voith." (laugh) DishDiva : mscfan Says: where do you get your composure? you hold yourself so well Billy_Gilman_Live : Basically, my parents, they're my big enfluences, they keep me well grounded. And I definately don't want to change for the world. DishDiva : NUMBER1CHICS SAYS: What's has all the attention from the media done to your relationship with your friends? Billy_Gilman_Live : My friends are the best! There's no jealousy at all! I've been friends with them since pre-school and when they see or hear me on the radio or TV they go "Hey! There's Billy!" I have really really good friends. DishDiva : mscfan Says: if you had one wish, what would it be? Billy_Gilman_Live : To sing forever and ever and ever!! I love it!! DishDiva : nixie18 Says: When people tell you how much your music has effected them, how do you react? Billy_Gilman_Live : I've gotten 60 to 70 e-mails a day that say "thank you for bringing this song into our lives and restoring my faith in the music industry." And my mom and I read them and some of them are so deep. It's just overwhelming. DishDiva : BILLYGILMANILUV316 Says: billy do you have any advice for people who want to break out in the music bussiness Billy_Gilman_Live : Keep following your dreams, because no dream is too extreme! Billy_Gilman_Live : It's a pug and his name is Wizzer from "101 Dalmations."

Billy_Gilman_Live : I'm doing Christmas in Washington with Jessica Simpson. And coming home for the holidays, and then in January, we'll do the big vacation.
